Anna, Arthur & Felix
What began as a story between brothers quickly evolved into a family affair. Arthur and Felix grew up together in Munich – Anna has been part of onomao since the very beginning. Their completely different personalities are perhaps the real secret to their success.
Arthur began traveling to Portugal, France, and Spain at an early age to pursue his passion for surfing. He was crowned German champion several times, and even today he is drawn like a magnet to the sea and the waves. His love for nature and beautiful things led him to study landscape architecture in Berlin. It was there that his passion for architecture and aesthetically pleasing spaces was ignited. Today, he lives with his family in Cologne.
Felix followed in his brother’s footsteps and spent much of his youth traveling and surfing. He lived in Portugal for several years to train as a chef. He then moved to Cologne, where he completed an apprenticeship as a graphic designer. Creativity plays a fundamental role in his life. After a brief stint in Berlin, he returned to Cologne, where he founded onomao with his brother.
Born in Hamburg, Anna lived in Spain, the Allgäu region, and a commune in Italy, among other places. This formative period sharpened her instinct for creativity, cultural dynamics, and the power of communication early on. As a young adult she ended up in Cologne, and for over 20 years she has worked at the intersection of creative direction, brand communication, and marketing — driven by the ambition to make people, products, ideas, and culture visible beyond the ordinary. Since the very beginnings of onomao, Anna has shaped the brand's public image — and since 2022 she has led the label together with Arthur and Felix.
